Garlic Chutney

This is must chutney in chaats, chillas, vada pavs. The pungent aroma of garlic enhances the flavor and taste of the dish.

Cooking time: 2 minutes Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 6 cloves of garlic, peeled and chopped
- 1 tablespoon jaggery
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon grated coconut
- 4 almonds
- 1 teaspoon Vegetable/ Sunflower oil
- Salt to taste
Method
Heat oil in a small pan and sauté the garlic for a couple of minutes
Combine garlic and all the ingredients; grind to a smooth paste in a blender, adding ¼ cup of warm water.
Refrigerate and use as required. Dilute as required with water when using the chutney.
