3 - Course Meal Asian-Styled Dinner For Your Weekend

220 ratings

Asian food is probably one of our favourite kinds of food to eat, next only to Indian cuisine. It combines bold flavours, bright colours and a little bit of all the basic taste groups -- hot, sweet, spicy, tangy, salty -- perfectly. What's more, it features fresh vegetables, sprouts and tofu which give a whole range of textures and tastes. From crunch of appetisers like stir-fries and kimchi, to comforting curries with classic flavours of coconut milk and hot sauces with chilli and garlic to wake your senses up, we've picked a fine menu to kick off the #SaturdayNightDinner series. But that's not all, we end it all on a sweet note with a selection of desserts that are also inspired by Asian flavours and classic sweet treats.

Indulge yourself in this Asian spread where you can choose from our menu of 3 appetisers, 3 mains and 3 desserts listed below. Pick one (or more!) dish from every row to complete your saturday night dinner menu planning with family and friends.

1. Appetizers

Appetizers have become an important part of every special meal, be it with family or friends. Having a combination of spicy, flavorful and healthy dishes gives a perfect start to any meal. Below we have a very popular Korean Pickle known as Kimchi that has a twist to the original recipe. The next is a classic Indian Chinese Special "Baby Corn Manchurian" also known as "Chilli Baby Corn" and finally is a classic Thai Raw Papaya salad that is made from raw papaya, peanuts and packed with flavors which is a house favorite.

2. Main Course

Main course plays a very important part of a family dinner or a party. When you do have a lot of appetizers, it's good to keep the main course to one dish meals that's easy to eat and serve as well. So here we have the "Vegetarian Pad Thai" for the noodle lovers, the "Vegetarian Massaman Curry" a house favorite that we have along with steamed rice and finally you can have one more dish that would complete the meal "Eggplant In Chilli Garlic Sauce"

3. Desserts

Desserts are everyone's favorite and we believe that parties can't end without them. They clean the palate and brings a refreshing end to a meal. We have given you a choice of three desserts, depending on the number of people you can choose to make one or more. We personally love to make them in smaller portions.
