This is my all time favorite, it goes into my Lasagne and all my baked pasta's. Simply delicuous and delectable. Its great when you have company as the cream and cheese in the sauce and the pasta heightens the flavor of the dish. Try it and you will be surprised that you can make such delicious sauces yourself. Ragout's refer to a sauce or stew that is slow cooked to get a desired consistency. It can be used as a topping over a main dish like pasta or couscous. You can use a variety of vegetables and or limit it to a choice few, but the end result is delicious. At home, I like to use it over spaghetti or even couscous. Goes well over a pizza or even any other pasta for that matter. Or you could just savor it with some bread.

This is a classic tomato basil sauce that can be used to top your pizzas and pour over your pasta's. Over the years after havign tried many recipes I realized the tomatoes differ from region to region and I finally had to adapt myself and work with the tomatoes that I had in the region I lived in. I love using the pressure cooker method for making this sauce as it cuts the cooking time in half.

Rich Red and Ripe tomatoes are roasted in the oven pureed to get the ever so delicious sauce that can be used as a pizza or a pasta sauce.
