After a tired day’s work or a lazy day at home, one dish meals can be your best friend; it’s handy to have a large selection of these dishes in your recipe file. How about we begin is simple event “ONE D – MONTHLY ONE DISH MEAL EVENT with a set of simple rules.

 

Monthly One Dish Event Meals

So let’s begin by adding a few rules to the event.

  • All dishes to be vegetarian- eggs and cheese are allowed
  • The dishes should contain at least one vegetable or a leaf
  • The dishes should contain at least one protein rich food - like soy products, tofu ,cottage cheese, paneer, eggs, lentils, other legumes, yogurt, peanut butter,nuts , seeds etc
  • The dishes can be hot or cold. If there is a possibility that it can be premade and frozen, please go ahead and suggest.
  • Please include Cooking Time and Preparation time and the number of people it serves (it’s ok if you make it just for yourself – you could write serves just 1 person)

  • Subject line – ONE D (Monthly One Dish Meal Event)
  • In the email include
    • Your Name
    • Your Blog Name or Site Name
    • Your Blog URL
    • One Dish Meal Recipe Name
    • One Dish Meal Recipe URL
    • Photo of your meal
  • Entries should be sent by July 15th 2008
  • If you are not a blogger or don’t have a site, then please send in your recipe details – I will post it on my site and mention your name. Please do try to send a photo as well.
  • Get inspired and get cooking!!!! Please remember to link back your "ONE D" posts to this post on your blog.
  • You can use the logo in your recipe post as well
