In this recipe the bread slices are filled with spiced up potatoes coated in gram flour batter and deep fried. The Aloo bread pakora is deep fried in Figaro Pure olive oil, making it low in fat and also packed with antioxidants.

Ingredients

  • 4 Brown bread , slices
  • 1 Onion , finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic , finely chopped
  • 1 Green Chillies , finely chopped
  • 2 Potatoes (aloo) , boiled and mashed
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat Masala Powder
  • Mint Leaves (Pudina) , finely chopped
  • Salt , to taste
  • Figaro Pure Olive Oil , for deep frying
  • Pakora  Batter
  • 1/2 cup Gram flour (besan)
  • 1 teaspoon Carom seeds (Ajwain)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Enos fruit salt
  • Salt , to taste

Directions for Crispy Aloo Bread Pakora Recipe - Roz Ka Khana With Figaro Olive Oil

  1. To begin making the Crispy Aloo Bread Pakora Recipe, start by preparing the bread by cutting the brown edges. With a rolling pin, gently roll the slices and keep them aside.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine together mashed potato, chaat masala, ginger, garlic, green chillies mint and salt. Mix them all well. Keep the paneer mixture aside.

  3. To prepare the bread pakora, take one rolled bread slice, place a tablespoon of the above potato mixture slightly towards one of the edges of the slice.

  4. Brush the other edges with little water to help sealing of the roll.

  5. Gently and tightly seal the edges to make it a roll. Similarly, make the other bread rolls. You can proceed for baking the bread rolls.

  6. Combine the ingredients for the outer crust adding little water to make thick mixture

  7. Preheat Figaro Pure olive oil for deep frying over medium heat. Once the oil is heated, add a few pakoras at a time and deep fry them until golden brown.

  8. Serve Aloo Bread Pakora along with Green Chutney as a tea time snack with family and friends.
