Who doesn't love the first rains of the season? It always brings the shimmer of magic with it. The sight of raindrops falling on the ground after long summer is so beautiful and refreshing. The most beautiful part is the “Petrichor” the earthy scent of rain that first hits the fresh soil, which makes us poetic and romantic. All you love to do is sit in your small outdoor balcony and nestle up with a steaming adrak elaichi wali masala chai and a good book for company.

While I was watching this beautiful first rain scene is when it struck me why not celebrate it with family and friends and create memories to cherish forever? The best way to welcome monsoon is to dance in the rain but I thought of organising my small Monsoon tea party to greet my friends on a cosy, cold, lightning, dark romantic tea party evening that will fill the environment with joy and rain drops slightly touching along with the cold wind giving us the feeling of refreshment and delicious sips of hot coffee. Isn’t this a great idea to enjoy monsoons with food?

Storage and maintenance of vegetables and fruits become crucial when we prioritise feeding fresh and nutritious food to our families.
