  1. We begin to Blanch the Almonds by adding the almonds to the a glass bowl, then allow the almonds to rest in the hot water for about 10 to 15 minutes until you notice that the skin easily comes out.

  2. After 15 minutes of resting in the hot water notice that the skin of the almonds peals out easily. If you notice that skin is still hard, then place it in the microwave for another couple of minutes and try peeling again. You can now use these blanched almonds in recipes that require them.
