Ingredients

  • 2 Onions , chopped
  • 2 Tomatoes , chopped
  • 2 Fresh Red chillies
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 300 grams Archana's Kitchen Durum Wheat Spaghetti Pasta , or any pasta of your choice (Penne, fusilli, rigatoni)
  • Salt , to taste
  • Black pepper powder , to taste

How to make Pasta In Tomato Onion Chutney Recipe

  1. To begin with Pasta in Tomato Onion Chutney Recipe let’s start by cooking pasta. In a large pot, boil water and once it starts boiling, add pasta. Cook pasta for 20 – 25 minutes. Drain the water from pasta and reserve some pasta water for later use.

  2. In a mixer, add tomatoes, onions,red chilies and garlic and blend them until smooth.

  3. In a non-stick pan, add oil and saute the tomato onion chutney for about 5 minutes until the raw smell goes away.

  4. Once the tomato onion chutney is done, add cooked pasta and toss pasta in the sauce for 3-4 minutes. Check the salt and chili and adjust to suit your taste. If the pasta in dry, add the reserved pasta water to make them more creamy.

  5. Once done, plate the pasta and garnish it with herbs and crushed black pepper and serve.
