The Cocoa Banana Almond Date Smoothie is a perfect blend of goodness and taste. The combination of bananas along with cocoa, dates, oats and almonds, makes the smoothie filling and nourishing. I serve smoothies to my children once they get back from school and it gives them the instant bout of energy they need.
- 2 tablespoons instant cooking raw oats
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa
- 2 cups milk
- 1 large banana
- 3 soaked almonds
- 3 soaked dates
- Blend all the ingredients in a blender adding 1/2 a cup of milk first. Allow it to become a smooth puree. Once blended smooth, add in the remaining milk and serve immediately.
- Serve the Cocoa Banana Almond Date Smoothie for breakfast, as an after school snack or a post gym workout drink.
