Spinach, Apple and Carrot Smoothie is a naturally sweetened smoothie by apples and honey. It gives you the essential vitamins and minerals of carrots and spinach. Mildly flavoured by a hint of mint and ginger, you also get a dose of antioxidants from the flaxseeds. A good helping of ice cubes and it makes a refreshing afternoon energiser.

Directions for Spinach, Apple and Carrot Smoothie Recipe
To prepare Spinach, Apple and Carrot Smoothie, start removing the stem from the spinach leaves. Peel the carrot and roughly dice it. Core the apple to get rid of the seeds, but do not peel it.
Now using the juicer or the blender, juice the ingredients beginning with the spinach and ending with the apple, making sure to throw in the mint, ginger and flaxseed powder in between. If you using blender for making the smoothie then strain it through a sieve to remove the roughage.
In the serving glass pour the desired amount of honey along with ice cubes and pour the juice over it. Stir to combine.
