In the busy households, it is a task to come up with ideas to make decent meals for weekdays. Weekends would be more blessed than weekdays because we have time to think and organize. It would be great if there is an early plan laid out for the week ahead such that we know clearly of what to shop and how much to shop for the week. Also, we understand the ease of making the recipes that could either be carry forward through transformation or packing it for lunch, or cooking with the same ingredients for the next day. Considering this, we are coming up with the weeknight dinner recipe ideas that could be of help.

Monday

Soak lobia on the Sunday night or early Monday morning. You can make Punjabi Style Lobia Masala, light and fluffy Phulkas to pair with it. You can double the amount of lobia needed to make this curry and save the rest in fridge for the next day’s use. You can also pack Punjabi style lobia masala with freshly made  parathas for lunch on Tuesday. Make easy Carrot Cucumber Tomato Salad with Lemon and Coriander to have warmly along with meals.

Tuesday

From the soaked lobia saved in fridge from the previous day, prepare Bengali style kaddu lobia ki sabzi recipe with Phulkas. While the lobia is cooking, prepare easy Jeera rice to pair it up with. You can add in a Boondi Raita Recipe Spiced With Black Salt to make the meal complete.

Wednesday

Prepare Cauliflower And Methi Paratha Recipe and pair it with simple Sweet and Spicy Tomato Chutney and Lauki Raita Recipe. You can also make easy Thalicha Thayir Sadam (curd rice)  which can also go into fridge and can be taken for lunch along with spicy tomato chutney the next day.

Thursday

Cook steamed rice with Drumstick and fenugreek sambar, and cabbage palya. Roast a papad to add the crunch. You can pack the leftover cabbage palya for lunch the next day with theplas.

Friday

This friday, treat yourself with exotic Vegetarian Thai Massaman Curry Recipe and Sticky jasmine rice. On side, have green papaya salad to relish the meal.
