To begin making Curd Rice for babies, firstly wash the rice thoroughly in water and keep it soaked in water for 20 minutes.
In a pressure cooker, add the soaked rice and 1 cup water. Let it cook for 4 whistles and allow the pressure to release naturally.
Once the pressure has released, open the cooker and cool the rice on a plate.
Once the rice has come to room temperature, mash the rice well either with your hands or with a potato masher.
Next, add the curd and give it a good mix. At this stage you can even add a pinch of salt if you child prefers salt in it, otherwise you can skip the salt.
Once the curd rice has come together, sprinkle the Ajwain Powder on top. Ajwain powder, help in soothing gas in your baby.
