To begin making the Cauliflower And Peas Bhurji Recipe, in a wide bowl, add in enough water and add some salt to it. Cut the cauliflower into florets and soak them in salt water for 10-15 minutes.
When done, chop the cauliflower and green chillies finely. Wash the green peas and drain the excess water.
Heat oil in a kadai and temper it with mustard seeds. To this, add in chopped green chillies, cauliflower, green peas, turmeric powder and salt. Mix them well.
Cover and cook them in low flame for 7-8 minutes or until done. They should have cooked yet should remain crunchy(al dente)!
