To begin making the Brahmin Style Vegetable Kurma Recipe, we will firstly wash, chop all the vegetables and keep it ready.
Then put all the ingredients for grinding including coconut, gram dal, coriander leaves, kala jeera, cumin seeds, green chilli, ginger, turmeric powder, tamarind into a mixer and grind into a smooth paste by adding little water.
Heat a pressure cooker with oil, add mustard seeds, cloves and cinnamon stick and wait till they splutter for few seconds.
Add carrots, green beans, potatoes and saute them until they soften. Once the vegetables are half cooked you can add the ground paste.
After 2 minutes, add water, salt and pressure cook for about 1 whistle. Release the pressure naturally, open the cooker, give it a mix and serve the Vegetable Kurma hot.
