Children love mixed rices, as it is easy to eat and quick to digest as well. The quick digestion from the rice gives the children the quick energy for them to get back into their school work. A very popular belief is that the rice puts the kids to sleep, but that not true, it in fact gives them that instant energy for the day

The Ragi Idli Milagai Podi smeared along with Idli Milagai Podi and packed with Cheese & Walnuts makes is a quick and simple snack box. I make the Idli Milagai Podi at home, and make sure to add less chillies to it, so the kids can eat it along with idlis. This podi, makes their snack boxes less messy. But if you children like it with chutney, then you can smear the idlis with chutney or even jam to suit your child's preference.

The Aloo Poha when packed along with Cheese & Walnuts is a quick and simple snack box that kids are able to eat in a  jiffy. I typically make the poha which has a sweet and sour flavor, that not only adds to the taste, but also gives them the added energy for the day. Keeping small portions, helps the children to focus on their food and complete them without wasting it.

The Rava Dhokla when packed along with Cheese & Almonds is a quick and simple snack box that kids are able to eat in a  jiffy. First reason is that it's easy to eat. They can simply hold it in one hand and gobble it up. You can even keep some jam or chutney by the side for them to dip the dhokla and give it an additional taste.

The Kuthiraivali Upma Kozhukattai Recipe is a twist to the traditional Kozhukattai recipe and is a healthy lunch box that you can put together with a little planning. You could make the upma the previous night and steam in the morning to give it that added freshness and softness. Kids School Lunchbox Ideas - Healthy Penne Pasta with Creamy Pumpkin sauce makes great saucy and creamy lunch box for children and even adults. I have used a Durum Wheat Pasta and the addition of the creamy pumpkin sauce adds to the nutrition for their lunches.
