Ingredients

    For the outer layer
  • 1/2 cup All purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Sooji
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • Lukewarm water- As needed to make a soft dough
  • Stuffing
  • 1/2 cup Pineapple, chopped into small chunks
  • 1/4 cup Jalapeno, chopped into small rings
  • 1/4 cup Potato, boiled and chopped into small cubes
  • 1/4 cup Shredded Cheese(any cheese can be used of your choice-I used Mozzarella)
  • 2 teaspoons Chaat masala
  • Salt-As needed
  • Dip
  • 2 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 teaspoon Chilli flakes

How to make Pineapple Jalapeño Pops Recipe `

  1. To begin the preparation of Pineapple Jalapeño Pops, mix all the ingredients mentioned for the outer layer, and make a soft dough.

  2. Cover the dough and set it aside at least for fifteen minutes.

  3. In a pan, add 2 teaspoons of oil and add the pineapple and jalapenos.

  4. Saute till the pineapple turns soft.

  5. Add the potatoes and saute for 2 minutes.

  6. Add required salt, chaat masala and make sure all the ingredients are mixed well.

  7. Make small balls out of the dough and roll them into a circle.

  8. Spoon some filling in the center of the dough and add some cheese on top and close the ends so that it forms a bite size ball (like making for aloo paratha).

  9. Deep fry in oil.

  10. Insert a toothpick on one end.

  11. Serve the Pineapple Jalapeño Pops hot with the honey chilli dip.

  12. For the dip, add little oil in a pan and saute the chilli flakes.

  13. Mix it with honey and let it rest for sometime for the flavors to get absorbed by the honey.
