Tips for Planning

Monday Have the thepla dough made the previous day so making the theplas becomes easier. Have the tomatoes blanched and chopped as well as the rice cooked in grainy form ready the previous day. Once you have this ready, making the tomato rice becomes quick and easy to beat the morning rush. Make granola bars for the week, it will come in handy for snacks.
Tuesday Have some fruits ready to be packed. Cut the cabbage and the tomatoes for the sabzi and keep it ready the previous night. In addition, keep the paratha dough ready as well. 
Wednesday  Keep bread, banana and peanut butter handy to make the sandwiches. Prepare vegetables cut the way they have to be for noodles and keep ready. Boil noodles that morning, roast vegetables and toss into noodles with sauces. 
Thursday Make the batter for idli the previous day. This will give you a fluffy batter for the idlis. Boil eggs and puree tomatoes the previous day, then the curry will get done in a jiffy. 
Friday  Use the batter you made for idlis to make the uttapam, add your favorite toppings. Make the broccoli pesto ready the previous night. All you have to do that day is boil pasta and toss it in the pesto and pack into the lunch box.
