Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 Gram flour (besan)
  • 1/4 All Purpose Flour (Maida)
  • 1 tablespoon Red Chilli powder
  • Salt , to taste
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Chaat Masala Powder
  • Water , as required
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • Butter (Salted) , to smear
  • 1/2 Cup Onion , finely chopped
  • 2 Green Chillies , finely chopped
  • Coriander (Dhania) Leaves , finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Tomato , finely chopped
  • 6 Whole Wheat Brown Bread

Directions for Eggless Bread Omelette Recipe

  1. To begin making Eggless Bread Omelette Recipe, take a mixing bowl, add besan, all purpose flour, red chilli powder, salt to taste and chaat masala. Add water and make a thin batter.

  2. Add baking Powder and mix it in the batter.

  3. Heat a non stick pan, add one tablespoon of butter .

  4. Once butter is melted, add chopped onions, green chillies, chopped coriander and chopped tomato, saute it for a few seconds.

  5. Add one ladle or one and half (according to pan size), spread the batter.

  6. Let it cook for few seconds, place one bread in middle and then flip bread again. This is for the bread to coat with the batter.

  7. Let the omelette cook from one side and then flip it along with the bread to other side.

  8. Once it is cooked properly, tuck on the omelette side .

  9. Eggless Bread Omelette is ready to serve. Repeat Same process for other bread slices.
