  • 3 Potatoes (Aloo) , boiled firm and peeled
  • 2 cloves Garlic , finely chopped
  • 1 inch Ginger , finely chopped
  • 1 Green Chilli , finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sweet and Spicy Red Chilli Sauce (Tomato Chilli Sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds (Til seeds)
  • 4 tablespoons Sesame (Gingelly) Oil , (or Vegetable Oil)
  • 2 sprig Spring Onion Greens , for garnishing
  • Salt , to taste

How to make Sichuan Style Chilli Potato Recipe

  1. To begin making the Sichuan Chilli Potato Recipe, heat oil in a wok on a medium heat; add sesame seeds, ginger, green chillies, garlic. Sauté for a few seconds and add the potatoes.

  2. Sauté for a few minutes until you notice the potatoes are getting lightly crispy and browned.

  3. Turn the heat to high; add the Sichuan sauce, sweet chilli sauce and sauté for 2 minutes on high flame, taking care not to mash the potatoes. 

  4. Transfer the Schezwan Chilli Potatoes to a serving platter, garnish with spring onions.serve as an appetizer for parties.
