In today's meal plate we have kept it simple with Phulka, steamed rice and side dishes with salad. For side dishes, we have made Nenua-Chana Sabzi which is Ridge Gourd with black gram dal, and Suran Jo Kheemo which is Sindhi Style Grated Yam Sabzi. There is sliced carrot for salad

Suran Jo Kheemo Recipe is a Sindhi Style Grated Yam Sabzi made sauteed with other spices like ginger, green chilli, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and cumin powder to get almost mashed type of sabzi.
The Chana Turai/Nenua Chana Sabzi Recipe (Ridge Gourd with Black Chana Recipe) has the classic but yet the rustic flavors which brings out the true flavor of the dish coming from fenugreek and amchur and cooked in mustard oil.
Phulkas also known as Roti or Chapati in some regions are a whole wheat soft and thin puffed flat bread.
