To begin making the Chow Chow and Beans Poriyal Recipe, pressure cook the chow chow and green beans with water and salt for about 2 whistle.
Allow the pressure to release naturally, drain all the water aside and keep it.
Heat a saucepan with oil, add in the mustard seeds, cumin seeds and allow it to crackle.
Once it crackles, add both the dals and also a sprig of curry leaves. Leave it for few seconds.
Add onions and saute until it softens. Add your cooked vegetables and sprinkle little salt, turmeric powder and give it a toss.
At the end, add grated coconut, switch off the heat and serve it hot.
