To begin making the Mushroom Do Pyaza Recipe, heat a kadai with oil, first add cubed onions and capsicum and saute until they turn soft and caramelized. Take them out and keep it aside.
Add ginger and garlic, allow it to soften. Once done add chopped onions and cook till they turn translucent.
Add chopped tomatoes and sprinkle with little salt so that the tomatoes become mushy and soft.
At this point you can add all the spice powders including red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, salt and saute well.
Add chopped mushrooms and cook until the water is all evaporated. Check for salt and add if required.
Add sautéed onions and bell peppers at the end and mix well. Cook until the mixture becomes semi dry.
