The meal plate starts with the preparation of a simple stir fry of cabbage and peas fry. The cabbage and green peas are simply tossed with tempered mustard, curry leaves, dry red chillies and loaded with freshly grated coconut. Then we have a delicious coconut rich gravy with a blend of carrot and chow chow. The gravy is a one pot meal and is quite aromatic with the blend of right spice with coconut. We move ahead to make the Udupi style Vegetable sambar with freshly ground udupi sambar mix.  The accompaniments for these dishes are hot steamed rice, phulka and sliced cucumber.

1. Tamil Nadu Style Muttaikose Pattani Poriyal
