  • 5 Whole Wheat Brown Bread , with edges sliced off (or a french loaf)
  • Butter (Salted) , softened, for toasting
  • Ingredients for the topping
  • 2 Green Chillies , finely chopped (or jalepenos)
  • 1/2 Green Bell Pepper (Capsicum) , finely chopped
  • 1/2 Red Bell pepper (Capsicum) , finely chopped
  • 1 Tomato , finely chopped
  • Coriander (Dhania) Leaves , small bunch, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Cheddar cheese , grated, to taste
  • Salt and Pepper , to taste

Directions for Chilli Cheese Toast Recipe - Breakfast Bread Pizza

  1. To begin making the Chilli Cheese Toast Recipe, preheat oven to 200 C.

  2. Butter all the bread slices and arrange them on a baking tray. If you are using a fresh loaf bread, then first slice them half lengthwise, then once again into desired sizes.

  3. Combine all the toppings including green chillies, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, tomato, coriander leaves and olive oil except the cheddar cheese. Mix everything well. Check the salt and pepper levels, adjust to suit your taste and keep aside.

  4. Sprinkle the topping mixture evenly on the buttered bread slices. Finally sprinkle the cheddar cheese and grill in the preheated oven until the cheese melts and you notice that the bread also is getting crusty from the sides.
