Ingredients
- 1 recipe Pizza dough , whole wheat
- 1 cup Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce
- 1 Onion , diced
- 1 Green Bell Pepper (Capsicum) , diced
- 100 grams Paneer (Homemade Cottage Cheese) , cubed
- 10 Button mushrooms , quartered
- 1/2 teaspoon Tandoori masala
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese , grated
How to make Tandoori Paneer Mushroom Veggie Pizza Recipe
To begin making the Tandoori Paneer Mushroom Veggie Pizza Recipe, we will prepare the dough for the pizza and the pizza sauce.
Prepare the dough using the whole wheat pizza dough recipe and allow it to rest for at least couple of hours until it doubles in size.
Prepare the pizza sauce using the tomato basil pizza sauce recipe and keep aside and proceed to make the topping for the pizza.
Heat a teaspoon of oil in a wok, stir fry the onions, green pepper and mushrooms until lightly softened and roasted. Roasted vegetables bring out a great taste when topped over a pizza.
Once most of the water has evaporated, add the cut paneer and the masalas including tandoori masala, garam masala, red chilli powder. Toss well to combine and turn off the heat.
Now preheat the oven to 240 C for about 30 minutes. When the oven is well heated, the pizza get a great crust and get cooked quickly and well.
The final step is to roll the dough, place the toppings and bake the pizza in the oven.
Dust the kitchen working platform with enough flour. Place the risen pizza dough and divide it into two equal portions. Roll the pizza dough into a thin circle.
Spread the tomato topping, sprinkle the roasted and spiced tandoori paneer with mushrooms. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and place it in the preheated oven to make.
Bake the pizza for about 20 to 30 minutes, until you notice the cheese is bubbling and the crust is golden.
Once done, remove from the oven and serve hot.
