To begin making the Cabbage Foogath Recipe (Goan Style Cabbage Stir Fry), thinly shred the cabbage leaves, wash and keep aside.
Heat oil in a wide pan, add the mustard seeds and let it splutter. Add the asafoetida, curry leaves and let it crackle.
Add in the fresh red chillies and saute until it releases all its flavour into the oil.
