Eating right and healthy is very important, as it provides us the necessary nutrients and gives us energy through out the day. But, we struggle on what to make on daily basis which gives us these necessary nutrients. Most of us has hectic schedules and usually gets in the dilemma of what to make that is appropriate for our family. Therefore, we here at Archana's Kitchen has lined up some combinations which are easy to make and delicious to eat.

These are rice and gravy combinations which are loved by everyone and are also easy to pack in your lunchbox for the weekdays. Either you can pack plain rice or you can make a simple pulav out of it to give it some flavour and extra taste. To accompany these flavourful rice dishes, we have some mouth watering gravies which will be loved by you family. From Rajma, Kadhi Pakora to Pindi Chole, these dishes are just delicious.

1. Mumbai Style Tawa Pulav & Kadhi Pakora

Mumbai Style Tawa Pulao Recipe with Moong Sprouts is a fun recipe that is super quick to make. It is a famous street food dish of Mumbai, where the rice is tossed in plenty of vegetables similar to the Pav Bhaji and spiced up with Pav Bhaji Masala and Chaat Masala. Try this delicious Pulav with Kadhi Pakora, which will enhance the flavour of your Pulav.

2. Jeera Rice & Punjabi Rajma Masala

Rajma Chawal, never heard of anyone who doesn't love this combination. The spicy gravy with cumin seeds flavoured rice is all you want for a lazy dinner on a weekday. You can also make this combination if you have guests at home for dinner along with a Punjabi Tadka Dal and Phulka.

3. Steamed Rice & Peshawari Chole

Just like Rajma Chawal, the other favourite is Chole Chawal! Peshawari Chole is just one of the many delicious dishes from the Punjab, and as the name suggests, has a hint of Peshawari style of cooking. Spicy and flavorsome, this dish requires some prior planning as the chickpeas need to be soaked in water for at least 6 hours.

Rajasthan is known for its food and there is a huge number of dishes in this cuisine. With its mouth watering flavours to the style of cooking, everything is different from what we cook on daily basis. Two of those delicious dishes are Rajasthani Gatte Ka Pulav and Rajasthani Kadhi. This combination is specially cherished in winters.

5. Vegetable Kurma & Ghee Rice

South Indian Style Vegetable Kurma is a delicious mild flavored mixed vegetable curry that is usually paired with chapathi or poori, but have you ever tried it eating with ghee rice. It tastes absolutely delicious! Wonderful aromatic spices are subdued with thick coconut paste and cashew paste to give it a rich creamy texture and then the ghee of rice adds an extra flavour to it.
