Indian Dinners need not be a difficult thing to do - it always helps to cut vegetables ahead and make the dough for the parathas or Rotis. If you are making any dish with legumes like Kabuli Chana, Kala Chana or Black Eyed Peas.

Monday

Sindhi Toor Dal, Tawa Paratha & Tamatar Arbi Sabzi

Tips for preparation : The dough for the Paratha can be prepared earlier. The dough stays good for 2 days in the fridge.

Tuesday

Raw Mango Sambar, Cabbage & Carrot Poriyal and Steamed Rice

Tips for preparation : You can cut carrot and cabbage for the poriyal and keep it in the fridge. Most sambars need tamarind extract as one of the ingredients. So making tamarind extract in bulk and keeping them in a fridge is the best way - they stay well up to 2 weeks.

Wednesday

Kasuri Malai Murgh Or Kasuri Methi Chole, Phulka and Spring Onion Raita

Tips for preparation : Do not forget to soak chana the previous night or the morning before heading to office. Chana needs a good 5-6 hours for soaking.

Thursday

Pav Bhaji, Cucumber Pineapple Salad & Pudina Buttermilk

Tips for a preparation : Only prep you need for Pav Bhaji is to cut vegetables finely and keep them in the fridge. Once back from office, all you need to make the bhaji and toast the Pav.

Friday

Mooli Paratha, Lemon Pickle, Curd and Easy Gajar Halwa

Tips for preparation : Grate you mooli and put it in a large sieve along with some salt with a vessel at the bottom. Keep that in the fridge. When you come back, all the water from the mooli would've drained and ready for the paratha to be made.

Saturday

Tofu & Peanut Noodles, Spring Rolls, Pumpkin Soup and Bread Pudding

Take your time and enjoy making this meal for your friends and family. Soup, Spring rolls, Noodles and a classic Bread Pudding! Yummy!

Sunday

Millet Bisi Bele Bath & Boondi Raita

Tips for preparation : Make extra helping of Bisi Bele bath so that you can pack this for your Monday lunch box as well!
