To begin making the Goan Style Chicken Galinha Cafreal Recipe, we will first grind all the ingredients given in the list to grind to a coarse paste.
Add this paste into a bowl. Rub the drumsticks nicely with paste so that the masala will seep in.
Rest the chicken for atleast 1 hour. Later heat a kadai with oil, add onions and saute until it softens.
Add the marinated chicken with all the extra masala. Roast the chicken for at least 5 minutes.
Add 1 cup of water and cover it with a lid and cook over a medium flame for about 20 minutes.
Make sure you keep turning the chicken so that it will evenly get cooked. You can cook for another 10 minutes if the chicken is undone.
