Here is a delicious Lunch Box of Idli and Chutney and we are sure your kids will love them. In this Thengai Milagai Podi Idli, mini idlis are made of moong dal and is tossed in a thengai milagai podi and served with refreshing coriander chutney. Watermelon is packed along with the idli to bring some freshness to the meal and add nutrition as well. You can pack any seasonal fruit of your choice as well.

Idli is steamed and so it makes them super healthy. Also idli batter can be made and stored in the fridge. On day 1 make idlis and day 2 make dosas with the same batter. Moong dal idlis are super simple to make. Equal proportion of rice and yellow moong dal is used making these idlis super nutritious. 

Thengai milagai podi has the goodness of dals and coconut in it. Make it less spicy to suit your kids taste. This podi has a great texture and crunch and is packed with flavours. Moong dal mini idlis when tossed in the podi makes a mouthwatering combination on its own but tastes best with a fresh coriander coconut chutney.
