We have added a simple dal recipe which is Dhaba Style Green Moong Dal Tadka to give you protein and fiber. We have a Mixed Veg makhanwala to add vitamins and other important nutrients in your diet and Phulka to provide carbs. A well balanced lunch meal will give you the right amount of energy required through out the day. Pack fresh fruits or mixed nuts to munch on as a snacks along with this lunch box.
Some prep work that you can do to move things along smoothly in the kitchen in the mornings are soak your moong dal the previous night. This will reduce cooking time of the dal in the mornings. Make sure you have all the ingredients required for the recipes for your Lunch box in your pantry.
You can cut or par boil the vegetables required for the veg makhanwala to make the dish easily in the morning. Make the dough of the phulkas and keep that as well in airtight containers in the fridge.
