  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 1 cup Water
  • Salt , to taste
  • 1 inch Ginger , cut into juliennes

How to make Malaysian Nasi Lemak Rice Recipe

  1. To begin making the Malaysian Nasi Lemak Rice Recipe, wash the rice thoroughly. 

  2. In a pressure cooker, add the washed and drained rice, water, coconut milk, salt and ginger and mix well. 

  3. Close the pressure cooker and pressure cook for 3 whistles and turn off the flame. 

  4. Allow the pressure to release naturally, open the cooker fluff up the rice with a fork.

  5. Transfer the Malaysian Nasi Lemak Rice to a serving bowl and serve hot.
