Masala Omelette Waffles Recipe is an innovative try on waffles which gives you an interesting start to your breakfast. These waffles are completely made with just eggs and packed full of veggies that will give you a healthy start as well.

You can add vegetables of you choice but in this recipe we have kept it simple by adding some onions, bell peppers, broccoli and tomatoes with some Indian masala.

Ingredients

  • 4 Whole Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 Onion , small in size and chopped
  • 1/2 Green Bell Pepper (Capsicum) , chopped
  • 1 Tomato , deseeded and chopped
  • 1/4 cup Broccoli , cut into small heads
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder (Jeera)
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder (Dhania)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • Salt , to taste
  • Butter (Salted) , for cooking  

How to make Masala Omelette Waffles Recipe

  1. To begin making the Masala Omelette Waffles Recipe, chop all the ingredients and keep it ready in a bowl.

  2. Break all the eggs, add milk as well and all the spice powders mentioned above including red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt to taste and give it a nice whisk. 

  3. Once you mix it, add all the vegetables including onions, tomatoes, broccoli and green bell pepper.

  4. Once done, heat your waffle maker to a medium temperature. Once the waffle maker is hot enough, brush it with enough butter so that the waffle does not get stuck to it.

  5. Slowly pour the whisked egg mixture into the waffle maker, just enough so that it fills up. Close the waffle maker and let it cook for at least 15 minutes.

  6. Open after 15 minutes and you will see the waffles have risen and has changed to light brown color.

  7. Slowly lift the egg waffles and serve it onto your serving plate.
