You can adjust the amount of butter and cream used in the recipe to suit your taste. A blend of spices adds amazing flavours to this gravy and complements the vegetables that we have added.
Veg Makhanwala is served along with Dhaba Style Green Moong Dal which is a simple no onion no garlic dal cooked along with tomatoes, ginger and green chillies. A Ghee tadka of cumin seeds uplifts the dal to another level. A dash of lemon juice is added at the end to add some tanginess. Garish with fresh coriander leaves before you serve the dal.
Served along with a Phulka and onions on the side which completes the meal. This meal box can also be packed for your office lunch box. Do try and let us know how you like it. You can also serve your choice of Raita or Salad along with this meal to make it more nutritious and filling.
