32 ratings

A super healthy meal packed with flavours, consisting of a Methi Dana Sabzi, Moong Dal Karara and Dalia served with some salad by the side. It is an easy meal that you can make for your everyday Lunch or Dinner.

The element of carbs here in this meal, is broken wheat, cooked in a pressure cooker, simply seasoned with salt. This cooked broken wheat is served with a dish of Methi Dana Sabzi. This sabzi is made by soaking methi seeds or fenugreek seeds as they are known, with added goodness of some dates and raisins, and our everyday Indian masalas.

A great way to include methi seeds in your everyday diet, as they are a rich source of minerals, vitamins, and phytonutrients. The seeds are good source of  soluble dietary fiber.

This meal also consists of lip smacking Moong Dal Karara, where essentially moong dal pakoras are dunked in a yogurt based curry, that goes perfectly well with this meal. The addition of some fresh salad by the side, be it carrots, cucumbers, or even boiled beetroots are a great way to include raw and fresh, high in fiber elements to your meal.
