  • Salt and Pepper , to taste
  • 1 pinch Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1 teaspoon Ghee

  1. To begin making the  Phool Makhana Recipe - Healthy Roasted Lotus Seeds Snack, in a small bowl, combine the melted ghee, the turmeric powder, salt and pepper.

  2. In a heavy bottom pan, dry roast the phool makhana on low to medium heat. The process of roasting takes a while, as it has to get evenly roasted from the inside too . Roast for about 8 to 10 minutes.
