To begin making the Phool Mathri recipe, In a bowl add maida, ajwain, salt and ghee. Mix it and knead a tight dough using lukewarm water.
Cover it with a kitchen napkin and keep aside for 10 minutes. Make equal size balls from dough and roll every ball into 4" diameter. For perfect shape we can use a cutter or a lid.
Pinch every roll with the help of plucker to give it a phool/flower like shape. Keep pinching in layers.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Deep fry all mathri on medium flame till golden brown in colour. Take them out on a kitchen towel to absorb excess oil. Crispy and tasty Mathri are ready to serve.
