  • 1 cup Paneer (Homemade Cottage Cheese) , cubed
  • 1-1/2 cups Homemade tomato puree
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cream , or milk
  • 2 inch Ginger , grated
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom Powder (Elaichi)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander Powder (Dhania)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves)
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 teaspoons Cooking oil
  • Salt , to taste

How to make Quick Honey Paneer Recipe - No Onion No Garlic Recipe

  1. To prepare Home Made Paneer simmered in honey tomato gravy, if it is a store bought paneer; soak in hot salt water for about 10 minutes. This process makes the paneer soft and tasty.

  2. Heat oil in a pan; add the cumin seeds, ginger and honey, sauté for a few seconds until the honey starts to bubble. Add the turmeric powder, coriander powder and saute for a few seconds.

  3. Add the tomato puree, salt, red chilli powder and cardamom powder and simmer for 2-3 minutes. add the milk or cream. Drain the water from the paneer and add it to the above gravy. Add kasuri methi and simmer for few minutes.

  4. Garnish Home Made Paneer simmered in honeyed tomato gravy with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve it with hot phulkas.
