Ingredients

    200 grams Durum Wheat Penne Pasta
    250 grams Button mushrooms, roughly chopped
    6 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
    1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
    1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder (Jeera), to taste
    1/4 cup Cheese spread, with pepper
    1 cup Milk
    Coriander (Dhania) Leaves, a small bunch finely chopped
    Salt, to taste

Instructions for Penne Pasta Recipe In a Creamy Mushroom Sauce Using Archana's Kitchen Durum Wheat Penne Pasta

    To begin making the Pasta Recipe In a Creamy Mushroom Sauce start by boiling the Archana's Kitchen 100% Durum Wheat Penne Pasta in hot water.  Keep a saucepan filled with water over a medium heat.

    Drop in the durum wheat penne pasta and a pinch of salt and leave it to boil. Boil the pasta till it is the al dente.

    Strain the water from the cooked penne pasta and rinse it under cold water. Drain all the water and drizzle olive oil over the pasta so it does not stick to each other.

    To make the sauce, heat oil in a saucepan, add garlic and mushroom and saute for about 10 minutes, till the mushroom releases all the moisture and becomes dry.

    Once cool, add the mushroom, milk, cheese spread, salt, cumin, pepper and blend to make a smooth puree.

    Now into a pan, add a little more olive oil, the cooked pasta and the mushroom sauce. Gently toss it well till the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce and bring it to a brisk boil for a couple of minutes. Turn off the heat.

    Transfer the Penne Pasta Recipe In a Creamy Mushroom Sauce onto a plate and garnish with coriander leaves and some crushed black pepper and serve.
