Why I Joined The Saffola FitFoodie Panel

Last year (2013) was my first interaction with Saffola & Vikas Khanna. It all started off as a series of shows on TV and a few food bloggers, including me had a chance to be part of the series. The experience was one of kind.

A year later, Saffola naturalized the Fit Foodie Concept and created the Saffola Fit Foodie Panel. This Fit Foodie panel is headed by Michelin starred chef, Vikas Khanna and what a delight it is to work with him and be part of the panel.

Why I Joined The Saffola Fit Foodie Panel? 

I always believe in eating healthy. And thinking about healthy food does not come easy. If you read my Mission and Vision statement I have said “My Mission is to create & organize resources and empower people with healthy food and eating habits using the best available products that will enable us to lead a healthy and fit lifestyle.

By collaborating with Saffola, celebrity Chef Vikas Khanna and famous Food Bloggers like Rekha and Deeba along with qualified nutritionists, it is simply aiding me on my journey to spread awareness and entice each one of you to start cooking healthy. 

So What is Healthy Food?

Healthy Food is any food believed to be ‘good for you’, especially if it is high in fiber, natural vitamins, fructose, etc. Healthy foods may reduce cholesterol, reduce atherosclerosis and risk of stroke, help control glucose, halt progression of osteoporosis, and reduce the risk of infections, cancer and other health related diseases.

Is healthy food tasty?

Absolutely! the taste comes from amount of spices, oil and cooking techniques. Healthy does not mean bland food.

And here at Saffola Fit Foodie I am here to create recipes that not only look good, but taste delicious and great for your body too. Every recipe here has been carefully designed, tasted and checked by the team to ensure that you get the best of both health and taste.

In the fit foodie website you will find a variety of healthy dishes ranging across different cuisines, meals and using different ingredients.  Go ahead and register yourself at the fit foodie website and you will have access to multiple features and benefits. You can create your customized recipe diary, where you can collect and organize recipes in any way you want, you can submit your recipes to us and get featured on the website and you can participate in our contests and win exciting prizes.

The Fit Foodie Recipes are not only gorgeous to look at but easy to cook, and delicious to taste as well. You can be sure that it won’t be just your stomach that loves you for it, but your body too!
