Ingredients

  • 1 cup Carrot (Gajjar) , cut into diagonals
  • 1 cup Green beans (French Beans) , cut into 2 inch
  • 1 cup Baby corn , cut into half
  • 1 cup Button mushrooms , quartered
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli flakes
  • Salt and Pepper , to taste 
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice

How to make Steamed Vegetables With Chilli Lime Butter Recipe

  1. To begin making the Steamed Vegetables With Chilli Lime Butter Recipe, chop all the vegetables and keep it ready.

  2. Add carrot, green beans and baby corn into a pressure cooker, add in salt & pepper with 2 tablespoons water and pressure cook for just one whistle. 

  3. Turn off the heat and release the pressure immediately, but placing the pressure cooker under running water. Open the cooker and keep the steamed vegetables aside.

  4. Heat a sauce pan with butter, once the butter starts to melt add mushroom sauté well.

  5. Once the mushroom is cooked, add in steamed vegetables, salt, pepper, red chilli flakes, oregano and lemon juice. Stir and check the taste and adjust the condiments accordingly.
