Tuesday

Dhingru Matar, Missi Roti And Burani Raita

Tips for preparation : Use fresh mushrooms for best taste. You can prepare the burani raita in the morning and add salt before serving. The dough for the roti can be prepared the previous night or morning so that all you have to do is to roll out the rotis for dinner.

Wednesday

Srilankan Chicken Curry, Mushroom Pasanda, Veechu Parotta and Tomato Onion Raita

Tips for preparation : The dough for the parotta can be prepared the previous night or morning before you leave for office. You can save time by cleaning and drying the mushrooms with a towel beforehand or in the morning to save yourself some time to wash the mushrooms.

Thursday

Chettinad Mint Pulao, Curd and Vadam

Tips for preparation: Mint leaves once bought has to be cut off from the stem and stored in an airtight container to store up to a week in a fridge. Add a piece of kitchen paper towel on top of the mint so that the moisture gets absorbed.

Friday

Ajwain Puri, Amritsar Aloo and Curd

Tips for preparation : Puri dough is always best made before making puris because the dough should not get dense. Letting the dough rest will tend to the dough absorbing moisture and the puris not puffing up. The aloos for the gravy can be prepared beforehand and taken out of the fridge 30-45 minutes before cooking the Amritsari Aloo dish.

Saturday

Burmese Know Suey and Frozen Strawberry Yogurt

Tips for Preparation : Khow Suey is a filling dish by itself and all the additions to the soup can be kept ready in the morning. Frozen Yogurt should be either prepared the previous night or morning since it needs time for setting. Remember to take the yogurt out 5 minutes before serving.

Sunday

Mint & Coriander Chili Potato, Broccoli Soup and Focaccia Bread

Tips for preparation : Mint leaves once bought has to be cut off from the stem and stored in an airtight container to store up to a week in a fridge. Add a piece of kitchen paper towel on top of the mint so that the moisture gets absorbed. The broccoli florets can be cut from the head in the morning or the night before. Focaccia bread once prepared can be stored up to 2 days. So make this bread a day in advance like a saturday so that all you have to prepare are the soup and salad.
