Bardoli Ki Khichdi is a delicious khichdi recipe made with rice and tur dal, along with mild spices and raw mango. The raw mango adds a sight tanginess to the khichdi, giving it a right kind of balance against the spices that are added.

Bardoli is a region in Gujarat which unlike the Gujarati cuisine, the food is more on the spicier side.

Unlike the normal khichdi, this Bardoli Ki Khichdi's texture is more like a pulao yet softer to eat. Potatoes and peas are added to make it even more wholesome.

Serve the Bardoli Ki Khichdi along with Tomato Onion Cucumber Raita and Papad for a simple wholesome weekday lunch.
