Ingredients

    For Falafel
  • 1 cup Kabuli Chana (White Chickpeas) , cooked
  • 2 cloves Garlic , finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder (Jeera)
  • 1 sprig Parsley leaves , finely chopped
  • Salt and Pepper , to taste
  • Cooking oil , for pan-frying
  • For Wrap
  • 4 Tortillas
  • 1 Red onion , thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Iceberg lettuce
  • 4 tablespoons Veeba Garlic Mayo , for seasoning

How to make Crunchy Falafel Wrap With Garlic Mayo

  1. To begin making the Falafel Wrap Recipe, we will first begin by making the falafel.

  2. Combine all the falafel ingredients, except the oil in a food processor and blend to make a coarse & thick paste.

  3. Heat a Kuzhi Paniyaram Pan, add 1/2 teaspoon oil into each cavity.

  4. Divide the falafel batter into small portions of the size of a Ping-Pong ball and flatten them slightly.

  5. Place the shaped falafel into the cavities and pan fry them until it is crisp and browned on both sides.

  6. Add few more drops of oil when you flip over to fry them on the other side. This will help in getting the even color for the falafels.

  7. To begin making the Falafel Wrap, place the tortilla on a flat surface.

  8. Place the lettuce leaves on the tortillas, add the onions, the hot falafel and finally drizzle the Veeba Garlic Mayo and fold into a wrap.

  9. Wrap in a parchment paper or foil and serve.
