Fruits Custard is a very healthy and delicious dessert. It has bunch of healthy fruits with creamy custard. This is very easy to make and healthy to eat dish. Custard is always liked by kids and adults as well. This is perfect option for party dessert because you can make it ahead of time and just add fruits when you are ready to serve it. Creamy custard filled with seasonal fruit is always a winner for a festive occasion.

Custard is all time favorite for children as well as people of all ages and they never go waste as you can also store it in the fridge for couple of days and relish it as an when you like. The fruits added to the custard can be of your choice as well as it can depend on seasonal availability. 

Serve Fruit Custard to your sudden guests or serve it as a dessert after a light meal of Paneer Pav Bhaji.

Ingredients

    For the Custard
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 3 tablespoons Custard powder
  • 5 tablespoons Caster Sugar
  • Fruits
  • 1 Apple , cut into small cubes
  • 3 Banana , cut into small cubes
  • 10 Fresh Cherries

Directions for Fruit Custard Recipe

  1. To begin making the Fruit Custard will first mix the custard powder with 2 tablespoon of milk so that there no lumps formed.

  2. Heat the remaining milk with sugar in a sauce pan, do not over boil the milk, keep the heat in simmer and allow slowly warm.

  3. Once the milk is warm, keep the flame low and add the mixed custard powder mix slowly and keep whisking it till the custard thickens.

  4. Make sure there no lumps formed so therefore use a whisk to create a creamy thick custard. Cook the custard for about 5 minutes and switch off the heat.

  5. Thickness of the custard can be adjusted depending on your choice. Add the cooked custard into a bowl and place it in the refrigerator till it cool down.

  6. Meanwhile chop all the fruits and keep it ready, once the custard is set and cooled, you can mix the cut fruits and serve. 

  7. Serve Fruit Custard to your sudden guests or serve it as a dessert after a light meal of Paneer Pav Bhaji.
