Ingredients

  • 1 Mango (Raw) , chopped optionally peeled
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Methi Seeds (Fenugreek Seeds) , halved (kuria)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds , halved (rai kuria)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida (hing)
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame (Gingelly) Oil
  • Salt , to taste

How to make Pisarna Manga Recipe -Instant Raw Mango Pickle

  1. To begin making the Pisarna Manga Recipe, cut the mango into small pieces along with the skin.

  2. Combine all the ingredients including the raw mango pieces in a bowl. Stir well until all the ingredients are well combined.

  3. Store the Pisarna Manga Pickle/ Instant Raw Mango Pickle in the refrigerator and use as and when required.

  4. You can also use whole mustard seeds, crackle them in oil and add it to the pickle mixture. This is the way traditional south indians make the pickle and called it Pisarna Manga.
