Here's a delicious and easy to make South Indian Breakfast Meal plate which includes a Spicy Neer Dosa, Karnataka Style Avarekalu Kosambari and Sweet and Sour Mangalore Cucumber Chutney. Everyone loves Neer Dosa, therefore we thought to give it a twist to make it even more tasty and flavourful.
Spicy Neer Dosa is a simple Neer Dosa recipe which is spiced with some everyday spices like coriander seeds, dry red chillies, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves.To complete the meal, we have served Karnataka Style Avarekalu Kosambari and Mangalore Cucumber Chutney along with the meal.
The Kosambari is a simple South Indian Style Salad which is a combination of avarekalu beans, sweet corn and tossed with freshly grated coconut, green chilies, onions, soaked moong dal and coriander leaves. To spice up the dosa, we have added a chutney which is sweet and sour in taste.
You can add a cup of Masala Tea or Filter Coffee to this meal. If you prefer fruits for breakfast, you can skip the kosambari and add some sliced fruits of your choice to this Breakfast meal plate.
We all know what a Neer Dosa is! Right? It is a soft and spongy Dosa made with rice and coconut.
But here, to make the Spicy Neer Dosa we gave the simple dosa a twist by adding the paste of whole spices like coriander seeds, dry red chillies, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves in the Dosa batter.
