To begin making the Tomato Onion Raita, first get all the vegetables chopped and ready.
Whisk the yogurt well along with salt and cumin powder and add all the chopped vegetables to it and give it stir. Transfer the raita to a serving bowl.
Our next step is to season the raita; heat oil in a small pan; add in the mustard seeds and allow it to crackle. Pour the seasoning over the raita and serve.
