Cucumber Green Chilli Raita is made from yogurt with a mixture of fresh produce such as cucumber, carrot and tomato with a little hint of chopped green chilli. The chopped coriander gives it a garden-fresh aroma. The raita is then finished with a sprinkle of some Indian spices like cumin powder and red chili powder to give it a hit of spice.

  • 1 Tomato , finely chopped
  • 1/2 Carrot (Gajjar) , finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon Green Chilli , finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera) , ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • Salt , to taste
  • Black pepper powder , to taste

How to make Cucumber Green Chilli Raita Recipe

  1. We begin making the Cucumber Green Chilli Raita by prepping all the vegetables.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cucumber, tomato, carrot, green chili along with the plain yogurt. Whisk well, add the black salt, salt and pepper and give it a good mix

  3. At the end sprinkle some cumin powder and green chilli powder as a garnish and serve.
