Ingredients

    For Curry Paste
  • 3 Stalks Lemon Grass , pruned and chopped
  • 4 Dry Red Chillies , soaked in warm water
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander (Dhania) Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 2 tablespoons Water , as required
  • For Fried Rice
  • 4 Stalks Spring Onion (Bulb & Greens) , finely chopped
  • 2 Red Bell pepper (Capsicum) , finely chopped
  • 2 cup Cooked rice
  • 2 cups Raw papaya , grated
  • 1/2 cup Roasted Peanuts (Moongphali)
  • Salt , to taste 
  • 6 sprig Basil leaves , torn

How to make Thai Style Raw Papaya Fried Rice Recipe

  1. To begin making the Thai Style Raw Papaya Fried Rice Recipe, prep all the ingredients and keep ready.

  2. Take all the ingredients for the curry paste, add to the mixer grinder and blend to make a coarse paste. Add very little water.

  3. Heat oil in a kadai on medium heat, add spring onions, chopped bell peppers, raw papaya and saute till they turn soft.

  4. Add thai curry paste and salt and mix it well into the vegetables.

  5. At this stage you can add the cooked rice and toss well into the raw papaya. Stir well to combine and saute on high heat for 2 to 3 minutes.

  6. Check the salt and seasonings and adjust according to taste. If the seasoning is perfect, turn off the heat and add chopped basil leaves and peanuts and serve hot.
